The place is beautiful, complete with a piano bar. You can even buy a copy of Chef Andrea’s book there. The menu is pretty extensive and delicious. I’ve been here a few times in the past. I love the little olive oil and balsamic vinegar jugs on the table, and the pepper grinder so you can grind your own black pepper fresh.
We decided on the La. Crabmeat & Eggplant Crabcake, Osso Buco Milanese, Lasagne Regina, and for dessert the Praline Pecan Cheesecake and Bread Pudding.
The crabcake was pretty good. The best thing about it was the lemon butter meunier sauce. I had to clean the plate with a piece of bread to get it all!
Next, they brought out some complimentary bruschetta. Each time I’ve come here they’ve done that. Nice of them.
The lasagna was good, and the osso buco was fantastic. So tender only a fork was needed, and the brown sauce was one of the best I’ve ever had.
Dessert wise the cheesecake was delicious, but the bread pudding, not so much. It was more like sugared slices of bread than a bread pudding. It also had raisins in it, which is traditional, but I don’t like raisins!
Pretty good place. I recommend it.
