This is a beautiful place. Right on the coast of the Gulf of Mexico nestled under some really old oak trees. If you stand on the front porch you can gaze out over the Gulf. The entrance and parking lot are around back.

I can make a blanket statement about all the food. It was delicious!
The house salad was a nice size. I had blue cheese dressing and my dining partner had a Creole Ranch.
I love a gumbo with a good dark roux, and this was one. Plenty of shrimp in it, and instead of crabmeat they put four cocktail crab claws in it! Never had that before.
The crab cakes were seasoned wonderfully with a lot of crabmeat in them
My dining partner loved the Trout Meuniere.
I had the whole, stuffed flounder. Being a fisherman I’ve caught some huge flounder. This one was the perfect size for a meal. Also, I’m familiar with cleaning fish. You know how hard it is to debone a flounder like that and not leave ANY bones? With my skills it’s about impossible. So I was expecting a bone or two. I ate the whole thing and didn’t get one bone! Impressive!
Excellent food and impeccable service. I can’t recommend this place any higher.
