I normally don’t review chain restaurants but I feel it’s my solemn duty to let my readers know where they can get some good food! And after the actions of the manager when they made a slight error on our order, I knew I had to write a review and give them a shout out. Also, it’s located on a busy street, but way at the back of a long strip mall. You’ll never see it from the street so I need to get the word out it’s there!
Nice looking clean, open floor plan kind of place. Huge salad bar if you want to go the healthy route for lunch or dinner. If you don’t want to go the healthy route, like me, they have free ice cream! Only other place I’ve seen that is New Orleans Hamburger and Seafood. Huge menu with a plethora of choices, but no French fries! You can choose different kinds of chips, like plain, baked, jalapeño and BBQ. Or a baked potato, which I decided to do. We ordered:

Ok, first off the managers actions I mentioned earlier. My dining partner ordered the Deli Club, which had ham, turkey and bacon on it. They bought him the sandwich in the first picture. As soon as our server walked off, he looked at it and realized it had roast beef on it. Definitely not what he ordered. He realized they brought him the Big E’s Deli Burger, which is made with roast beef instead of a hamburger patty. We called the manager over. He apologized and said he’d get the right sandwich out pronto. Instead of picking up the wrong sandwich off the table, like anyone else would do, he left it there. In no time he came out with the correct sandwich (2nd picture) and asked, “Y’all want a box to take that other sandwich home”? Very cool! That kind of service makes all the difference in the world. The club sandwich was great, by the way.
As was my Beefeater sandwich. A half pound of hot roast beef with melted provolone and au jus. Really yummy. I love dipping sandwiches in au jus!
The baked potato was huge. And good.
Great place. I recommend it!
