There’s an entertainment district in Orange Beach, Alabama known as The Wharf. There’s a marina, numerous stores, a movie theater, hotel, ferris wheel, and of course, restaurants. We were staying at the hotel here and perusing the different restaurant menus trying to decide where to eat, when we noticed brisket queso on the menu here. Sounded great, so we came on in.
Nice looking place right on the water at the marina. There’s a big bar outside if you’re only interested in having a few drinks.
We decided on the brisket queso, guacamole sampler, smoked brisket hash and a tuna poke bowl.

The brisket queso was great. Tender, smokey chunks of brisket in a delicious, creamy queso.
I had never had pineapple salsa before but the sweetness of the pineapple went great with the guacamole. The chips were also very fresh.
My dining partner had the smoked brisket hash. She loves tater tots, and you get plenty of those. Plus more of that yummy brisket. She enjoyed it.
I had the tuna poke bowl. I don’t like carrots so I told them leave those out. It was pretty good, but I thought the tuna had been marinated a bit too long. I asked our waitress what it was marinated in. She said soy and teriyaki sauces, rice wine vinegar, and I forgot what else. Still tasty, but the marinade kind of overpowered the delicate taste of the fresh tuna.
Nice place. I recommend it!
