This place is on the very busy main drag through Metairie, so I’ve driven past it countless times. Tonight we happened to be in the pizza mood and in the area, so we decided to stop in.
It’s located in a small strip mall right next to the Black & Gold and Purple & Gold store. If you happen to be a New Orleans Saints, or Louisiana State University football fan, you can shop for sports paraphernalia before or after your meal.
Small place with a small menu. They won’t hand you a menu when you’re seated because it’s posted on the wall for everyone to see. I love a small menu like that. Just do a few things but do them right! They also only have ONE house salad dressing. There’s enough pressure and decisions to be made in life. This place makes it easy for you!
We decided to split a small artichoke salad, the Tower Supreme Pizza, and an order of spaghetti and meatballs.

I messaged a friend of mine after we ordered who loves this place, and told her we were dining here. She told me to get the Italian salad. It was too late. She happens to be a certified New Orleans Italian too. Next time.
The salad was good! So simple. Lettuce and artichoke with a very light dressing. And the small was plenty enough for the two of us.
The pizza was excellent and they got it out to us pretty quick! Great crust and generous toppings.
The spaghetti and meatballs were also a winner. Served with a very fresh piece of French bread. The meatballs had just the right breadcrumb to meat ratio for my taste. Yummy.
Great dinner here tonight. I recommend the place!

“Just do a few things but do them right”. Couldn’t agree more! π

But YOU buck that trend. You do a LOT of things and do them right! ππΌ

Thanks for the compliment! π
I do try to post different types of dishes on my blog, but as a chef, I always aim to create small and coherent menus.
When I see a long menu at a restaurant, I know that most of it is probably the product of mass production, reheated to order…
